The Genesee County Health Department in cooperation with the Alexander
Central School District will be hosting an in-school flu vaccination
clinic on Thursday December 10, 2009. The Center for Disease Control
recommends that anyone between the age of 6 mos. and 24 years be
vaccinated to help prevent the H1N1 virus. If you would like your child
immunized you must complete a consent form (available in the school
offices) by the close of school on Monday, December 7.
Your child will receive either H1N1 flu nasal spray or injection based
upon the responses to screening questions, availability of vaccine and
following CDC Guidelines.
